Thermo Scientific ERTCO® Specific Gravity Hydrometers
Specific gravity hydrometers measure the ratio of the density of a sample compared
to the density of pure water at the same temperature. The temperature standard for
these hydrometers is 60๐F (15.6๐C ).
Wide-Range Specific Gravity Hydrometers, Plain and Combined Form
Plain form hydrometers come without thermometers. Combined form hydrometers include
a built-in thermometer. Model 08290-00 has a  30 to 90๐F (-1 to 32๐C) temperature range;
all other models have a  20 to 120๐F (-6 to 48๐C) temperature range.
